SS 304/304 L Forged Pipe Fittings
Our SS 304 Forged Pipe Fittings are Stainless Steel and possess chromium in a higher amount to resist the oxidizing agent and chemical corrosive agent. Our Fittings maintain a stable amount of nitrogen, manganese, silicon for excellent strength to hold high pressure. Our SS 304 Forged Fittings are suitable for compression fittings, they have a thick layer which enables them to be leakage free. The advantage of using SS 304 Pipe fittings are that they do not deform easily in high temperature usage and have an excellent thermal stability.
SS 304L Forged Pipe Fittings also contain chromium & nickel alloy. These have a very good forming property. They are non magnetic and have less thermal conductivity compared to Carbon Steel Fittings. As a result, our SS 304/304L Forged Pipe fittings are suitable for high temperature applications.

SS 316/316 FORGED PIPE FITTINGS

SS 304 versus SS 316 Pipe Fittings?
SS 304 Stainless Steel contains 18% chromium and 8% Nickel. SS 316 Stainless Steel contains 16% chromium, 10% nickel and 2% molybdenum. The molybdenum helps in resisting corrosion.
SS 304 Stainless Steel has a very low carbon content and has a chromium nickel content which makes it very versatile to use. SS 304 is used in a very diversified and versatile way.
SS 316 Stainless Steel is heat resistant steel with chromium nickel content with a vastly superior corrosion resistance when exposed to a variety of chemicals. SS 316 is more expensive than SS 304, however is much more resistant to corrosion and rust as compared to SS 304. It is more resistant to corrosion and rust due to the presence of MOLYBDENUM.
