About the range
Veeson is the cast-iron industrial valve brand of the DRP Group, Jalandhar, manufactured to IS standards since 1992. Veeson Valves Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2015 company and one of three group firms at DRP Lane, Bulandpur Road, Jalandhar — alongside DRP Metal Works (1976, bronze and stainless valves) and DRP Malleables (1996, M.I.G.I. and C.S. pipe fittings).
The range covers cast iron ball valves to IS:9890, butterfly valves PN-16 to IS:13095 with ductile iron or CF-8 stainless discs, wafer swing and dual plate check valves, Y-type strainers, IBR-certified globe stop and lift check valves, and cast steel PN-40 valves. Veeson & DRP — one manufacturer, two brands
Veeson and DRP are two brands of the same manufacturer, the DRP Group of DRP Lane, Bulandpur Road, Jalandhar-144 0012, Punjab. DRP Metal Works began in 1976 with bronze and stainless steel valves, Veeson Valves Pvt. Ltd. followed in 1992 with cast iron industrial valves, and DRP Malleables Pvt. Ltd. was added in 1996 for M.I.G.I. and C.S. pipe fittings. Veeson-branded valves are the cast iron industrial range; the DRP/Veeson co-branded range covers butterfly, sluice, check, wheel and air valves. Both come from the same works, to the same IS standards, and both are stocked in Delhi by Vijay Sales Corporation.
Quality & certifications
Veeson cast iron ball valves are CL-125 conforming to IS:9890-1981 and ISI marked; butterfly valves conform to IS:13095-1991 and are ISI marked under tight shut-off application. Ball valves are tested at a body test pressure of 500 lbs. hyd. and a seat test pressure of 300 lbs. hyd., for a maximum working temperature of 200°C. Butterfly, wafer check and dual plate valves are tested at 200 lbs. hyd. body and 150 lbs. hyd. seat.
The globe stop, lift check, angle and feed check lines, the bucket steam trap and the cast steel PN-40 range are IBR certified. Cast iron globe valves are tested at 26 kg/cm²g body and 16 kg/cm²g seat; cast steel PN-40 valves at 76 bar g (1100 psig) body and 40 bar g (580 psig) seat. Works test certificates are furnished when required.
