What is the difference between SS and GM hydrant valves?
SS (Stainless Steel) hydrant valves are typically CF8/CF8M grade, offering excellent corrosion resistance at a more economical price point. GM (Gun Metal) valves are cast from a copper-tin-zinc alloy that provides superior resistance to seawater, brackish water and aggressive industrial environments — which is why GM is specified for coastal projects, refineries and high-end commercial buildings under IS 5290. For most inland commercial buildings, SS valves are perfectly adequate and significantly easier on the project budget.
Are NewAge sprinklers UL/FM listed?
Yes. NewAge sprinklers are manufactured to UL 199 / FM 2008 standards and carry the necessary listings for use in NFPA 13 compliant systems. Each consignment is supplied with a manufacturer's test certificate, and ratings (68°C standard, quick response, K-factor) are clearly stamped on the deflector for inspection by the AHJ. We can share the product datasheet and listing certificate on request before purchase.
What's the difference between standard and quick response sprinklers?
Standard response sprinklers use a 5 mm glass bulb and are rated RTI > 80, suitable for storage and industrial occupancies. Quick response sprinklers use a 3 mm bulb with RTI < 50, activating roughly 4× faster — they are mandatory for light-hazard occupancies under NFPA 13 such as hotels, hospitals, offices and residential buildings to control fire growth at the incipient stage. The activation temperature (68°C) is identical; only the response time index changes.
Do you deliver across India?
Yes — we dispatch pan-India by road and rail from our Delhi warehouse. Standard delivery is Ex-Works Delhi with freight extra at actuals; for project sites we can arrange door delivery against transporter quote. Same-day dispatch is possible on stocked items if the order is confirmed before 2 PM.

What warranty comes with NewAge products?
All NewAge fire fighting equipment carries a 12-month manufacturer's warranty against material and workmanship defects from date of invoice. Sprinklers, valves and brigade connections are factory hydro-tested; replacement is provided free of cost for any unit failing pressure or visual inspection during the warranty window. We coordinate warranty claims directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.
Is GST included in the displayed prices?
No. All rates shown are Ex-Works Delhi and exclusive of GST. GST is charged at 18% on most fire fighting equipment, and at 5% on Premier RRL fire hoses as per the current GST schedule. Final invoice will reflect HSN-wise GST and freight separately, fully eligible for input credit by registered buyers.
What is the lead time for bulk orders?
Stocked items ship within 24–48 hours of payment realisation. For made-to-order quantities — typically large hydrant valve, brigade connection or custom flexible hose lots — lead time is 2 to 4 weeks ex-factory, confirmed at the time of order acknowledgement. We share weekly production updates on long lead-time orders so your site planning stays on track.
