The range includes SS and gun-metal hydrant / landing valves with a 63 mm female instantaneous outlet and a flanged inlet; short branch pipes to IS 903 with a 2½" male instantaneous connection; Premier, Premier Extra and Pyroprotect RRL fire hoses to IS 636:2018 (Type 1, 2 and 3); and swing-type hose reel drums with 30 m / 36 m of tubing for first-aid fire fighting.
On the sprinkler side, NewAge supplies 2-, 3- and 4-way fire brigade / inlet breeching connections with non-return valves, UL-listed and FM-approved braided and unbraided flexible drop hoses for sprinkler connections, and standard & quick-response pendent, upright, sidewall and concealed sprinklers. SS vs GM hydrant (landing) valves
Both are 63 mm landing valves with a female instantaneous outlet and flanged inlet. Choose stainless steel (CF8 / CF8M) for coastal, humid or corrosive water service; gun metal is the general-service choice for most buildings. NewAge offers gun metal, aluminium alloy and SS.
Standard vs quick-response sprinklers
A standard-response head uses a 5 mm glass bulb; a quick-response (QR) head uses a thinner 3 mm bulb that reacts faster to heat. Both are K-factor 5.6 (80), rated 68 °C / 79 °C. Light-hazard occupancies (offices, hotels, hospitals) typically specify QR.
Braided vs unbraided flexible hoses
Both connect a sprinkler to the branch line in SS 304, in 700–1800 mm drop lengths, with a 1" BSPT inlet and ½"/¾" NPT outlet. Braided hoses are UL Listed & FM Approved; unbraided hoses are UL Listed. Pick braided where FM approval is specified.
