Every Prakash Surya GI size is made in up to three classes — Light (Class A), Medium (Class B) and Heavy (Class C) — which differ in wall thickness at the same outside diameter, so a heavier class weighs more per metre and costs more. Light is the general low-pressure choice, Medium is the everyday water-and-gas standard, and Heavy is used where higher pressure or a longer service life is wanted. The rate you see is per running metre, which is how the pipe is measured, cut and installed on site — not a per-tonne figure you have to convert.
A note on the name, because it trips up a lot of enquiries: Surya Roshni Limited is the company, and Prakash Surya is the trademark embossed on the pipe. Buyers often type it the other way round as “Surya Prakash” — it is the same brand. Prakash Surya is not connected to any Jindal company; if a specification simply says “Surya”, it means this brand, and the Jindal pipe brand guide separates the Jindal names for comparison.

Light class is made from 15MM to 100MM. At 125MM and 150MM the pipe is made in Medium and Heavy class only, which is why those Light cells show a dash in the table.
