What's the difference between Zoloto 1078, 1078A, 1078B, 1078C, 1078G, and 1078H?
1078 is the PN1.6 wafer butterfly valve with S.G. iron disc, lever-operated (40–150NB). 1078A is the same valve in gear-operated form (200–600NB) — torque becomes impractical above 150NB. 1078B is PN1.6 with SS-304 (CF8) disc, lever (40–150NB). 1078C is SS-304 disc, gear-operated (200–350NB). 1078G is the heavier PN2.5 version, S.G. iron disc, lever (40–150NB). 1078H is PN2.5 gear (200–300NB). All are designed to IS:13095.
What's the difference between PN16 and PN25 Zoloto butterfly valves?
PN16 is rated for 16 kg/cm² (1.6 MPa) working pressure — the standard choice for water supply, HVAC chilled-water and most building services. PN25 is rated for 25 kg/cm² (2.5 MPa) and is specified for booster-pump applications, high-rise building risers and certain hydrant mains. PN25 valves are heavier-walled and cost more. Test pressures: PN16 shell 2.4 MPa / seat 1.76 MPa; PN25 shell 3.75 MPa / seat 2.75 MPa. Both are designed to IS:13095.
What sizes of Zoloto sluice valves does VSC stock?
VSC stocks Zoloto CI Sluice Valves (model 1079B) from 50NB to 300NB as per IS:14846 PN1.6, with flanged ends to IS:1538.
